New Dunedin plan to cater new homes - and climate change
Dunedin is revamping its city plan to prepare for climate change and provide land for 1200 new homes.
It is one of the first councils to release a second-generation plan – a major rethink of land use considerations put in place when the Resource Management Act began in 1991.
The proposed plan sets out a new strategic direction for the city, and includes changes to urban land supply and zoning.
