On Wednesday, June 21, 2023 passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Hutt Hospital, aged 92 years. Loving, devoted, and adored wife and soulmate of Allen Sing Kong Wong. Dearly loved mother of Phyllis, Glenys, Kaye, Gaye, and Iva, mother-in-law of Chng, Boyce, Andrew and Stephen, and cherished Por Por of Alyssa, Kimberly, Hana, Euan, Emma and Madeleine. A much loved and respected woman who will be dearly missed by her family and friends, including those from the early days in Pukekohe, Auckland and then Cathay Restaurant and Cathay Trading Company on Courtenay Place. A service to celebrate Colleen’s life will be held at Cornwall Manor, 1 Cornwall St, Lower Hutt, Wellington, on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11.00am, followed by a burial at Makara Cemetery, 237 Makara Rd.
