Our unforgettable family matriarch with a heart of gold passed gently on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Dearly loved wife of the late Lex. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Leanne and Brent, Donna and Kerry, Kerri and Thomas, the late Peter Thompson, Bonnie and Chris, Brad and Awhina. Awesomely special Nana, Great-Nanu and Great-Great-Nana to her many grandchildren and blended families who will all miss her terribly! Mum was very grateful for all her beautiful friendships and extended family. Our sincere thanks to the amazing caring team on the surgical ward at Southland Hospital who made her final days comfortable. Thanks to Distinct Funerals who showed remarkable respect to Margaret.
