BUTEL, George Raymond (Ray)
On June 18, 2023, passed peacefully in his sleep, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Shirley (deceased), loved and respected father of Sally and Richard Smith, and Tony and Maree Butel, much loved grandad of 8 grandchildren and great-grandfather to Lydia. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Norma (deceased) and Bill, Lesley and Murray and their families. Special thanks to the staff at Anthony Wilding who cared for Ray over the past month. A service to celebrate Ray’s life will be held at Hope Chapel, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 1.30pm.
