Passed away peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital on Sunday 18 June 2023, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Olive for 69 years. Respected and loved father and father-in-law of Jane and Stu Greenfield, David and Karen, Glyn and Maureen, Christine and Paul Standish-Currie, Robin and Clifford Ashby, and Jennifer and Murray Nessling. Loved Granddad and great-Granddad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service for Garth will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Monday 26 June 2023 at 1.00pm. Thanks to Westella Rest Home and Palmerston North Hospital staff for their loving care of Garth. Messages can be sent to the Standish family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.
