HARPER, Ronald Euan Douglas (Red)

Passed away peacefully in Greymouth with loving family by his side, on June 19, 2023, aged 91. Loved father of Mark Laird, loved grandad of Samantha, Deanna, and Mikayla, and great-grandad of Olivia, dearly loved son of the late John and Isobel, a loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Esma and Russell Lobb, Gordon and Phyllis, and Brian (Blue) and Colleen, a deeply loved and respected uncle of John Lobb, Alistair Lobb, Julie Apu, Leigh Brookland, Wayne Harper, Andrea Harper, Lance Harper, Brendon Rae, and Rachel Rae, a loved great-uncle, cousin and a friend of many. A Funeral Service to celebrate Red’s life will be held in the the William Sampson Memorial Chapel, Tainui St, Greymouth, on Friday at 1.00pm. Red will be then laid to rest with his brother Blue, at the Karoro Lawn Cemetery.
