HIGGINS, Cynthia June (nee Duncan)
Peacefully at Wakefield Homestead on June 8, 2023, 2 days shy of her 90th birthday. Dearly loved wife of the late Cyril. Adored and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Jenny and Dennis O’Brien (Tapawera), Wayne (Foxhill), Marlene and Greg Archibald (Upper Moutere). Loved Nana of Mitchell and Lawson. Loved sister of Alison Neill, Ian (dec), Gary and Lorraine Duncan, and a much loved aunty and great-aunty. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr Pip deHamel, Dr Ben, Brad and the team at the Wakefield Pharmacy, the community hospice nurses, and to Margaret and Hillary and the amazing, kind and loving carers at the Wakefield Homestead for caring for mum over the last few years, and to all her lovely friends at the homestead.

In keeping with Cynthia’s wishes, a private burial has taken place.
