DA VANZO, Avril Belford
On 14 June 2023 Avril passed peacefully at Wellington Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Rex for 56 years, cherished mother of her children, Peter, David, Mark and their spouses, Amla, Fiona and Heather, and her grandchildren, Cody, Matene, Tom, James and Briar. Her funeral will be held at the Khandallah Presbyterian Church, 33 Ganges Road, Khandallah, on Tuesday 20 June at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Makara Cemetery. Flowers respectfully declined. The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the Wellington Free Ambulance and the doctors and nursing staff of Ward 5 South Wellington Hospital for their exceptional care of Avril in her last days.
