Passed away peacefully, aged 91 years, after a brief time at Nurse Maude Hospital, Christchurch. Much loved wife of the late John North, beloved mother of Julia Whittaker and Lorraine North and mother-in-law of Richard Hamilton. Beloved grandmother of Amy, Nicholas and Laura and great-grandmother of Connor and Arlo. Loving daughter of the late Hanley and Grace Cook. Also much loved older sister of the late Eileen Cook and Maurice Cook and sister-in-law of Joy Wyse. Much-loved aunt of Stephen, Karen, the late David, and Andrea. Fond cousin of Sue and the late Tony Seeley; Anne and Frank King and the late Lance Yates.
You will be sadly missed.

The family wish to thank the wonderful caregivers and medical staff who looked after Thelma in her later years and final days. A celebration of Thelma’s life will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, 19 London Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, May 10, at 1.00pm.
