On 30th April 2023, peacefully at Wellington Hospital after a short illness , in her 84th year. Dearly loved wife of Kevin Kwong Hon, Mum to Nigel & Cecilia, Mitchell & Irene, Serena & David Wong. Grandma to Kimberley and Victoria, and adored Por Por to Thomas and Emily. A special thanks to the family’s GP Dr Ken Looi, and Dr Jennifer Thompson and the nursing team at the MAPU Ward at Wellington Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Karen will be held at Cockburn Street Chapel, 1 Cockburn Street, Kilbirnie, on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at 11.00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery.
