POWELL, Florence Amelia (Flo)
On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, aged 93. Loved wife of the late Stan, mother and mother-in-law of Kevin and Michelle (Australia), Trevor (Westport), Glennis and Trevor Browne (Whangarei), Graeme (deceased) and Lorraine, Murray and Valda (Woodend), grandmother to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Respected oldest sister to her brothers and sisters. Lifelong friend to many and best neighbour to all her friends in both Ryman Villages, Diana Isaac and Charles Upham. Special thanks to the staff at the Rest Home for looking after Mum near the end. Respectfully there will not be a funeral service. Flo requested a party to be held in her memory at Rossburn Receptions, Sparks Lane (off Northbrook Road), Rangiora, on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 2.00pm - everyone welcome.
