Death

BULLOT, Don

To my beloved partner, and dearest sweetheart,
Just a few words to say just before I start.
You lay tall, proud and smartly dressed,
As handsome as the day we met.
A poppy dawned upon your lapel,
That extra touch for your final farewell.
Although it’s the spirit that leaves this place,
It’s the body that bears your smiling face.
Huge hands that once held me with a warm embrace,
My darling sweetheart who kept me safe.
With a tear down my cheek I will stop writing now,
My broken heart needs to heal somehow.

Rest in Peace my sweetheart with all my love
in the arms of our saviour and the good Lord above.
Love you forever, Molly.
