BURT, Elizabeth Ann (Betty)
Passed peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, aged 92. Beloved wife of Ron Burt, and much loved mother of Liz and Noel Lowery, Peter and Kate Burt, Tony Burt, and Carmel and James Thian, cherished Grandmother to Jack and Lucy, Steve, Sarah and Claire, Bella and Alex, and Great-Grandmother to Heidi and Tommy. A Requiem Mass for Betty will be celebrated at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1.30pm, followed by a private burial in Leeston. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John would be appreciated. Messages can be addressed to the family of the late Elizabeth Burt, c/- 19 London St, Christchurch 8013.
