GOGGIN, Sister Helen RSMHelen Elizabeth
On April 20, 2023 at Essie Summers Retirement Village supported by her Mercy community, family and staff. Dearly loved member of Nga Whaea Atawhai o Aotearoa Sisters of Mercy New Zealand in the 73rd year of her religious profession, aged 93 years. Dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Leonard and Ellie Goggin, loved sister and sister-in-law of Mona, Alma and Don Peters, Harold, and Joan (all deceased). Loved aunt of Helen and Tony Clifford (Levin) and Maureen Bell (Christchurch), and of all her great-nieces and nephews. Special thanks to staff of Essie Summers Retirement Village and Mercy carers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Manchester Street, on Wednesday, April 26 at 10.30am, followed by interment at Waimairi Cemetery, Grahams Road. Vigil Prayers at St Mary’s Church, 116 Lonsdale Street, New Brighton, on Tuesday, April 25 at 7.00pm. Livestream link
