MEECH, Augustus (Gus)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday 16 April 2023 at Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Vicki, Guy and Rebecca, Daniel and Whitney. Much loved Papa Gus to Harry, Felix, Will and Henry. Son of the late Bill and Margaret Meech, and brother to Hilton. Grateful thanks to the staff, past and present, of Bramlee House, Mary Doyle, for their care and loving support of Gus. Thank you also to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers of the A1 Ward at Hawkes Bay Hospital, for their kindness and compassion towards Gus at the end. A private family celebration has been held.
