Paddy died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital surrounded by family on Monday. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter; sister and sister-in-law of the late John and his wife Pippa; much loved mother and mother-in-law of Jonathan and Jane, Libby and Andrew, Chris and Michelle, and the late Stephen; cherished grandma of Lily and her husband Mark, Duncan and his partner Hannah, Rebecca and her partner Mark, Sarah and her partner Will, and Sam; and great-grandmother of Oliver, Oscar, and Thea. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital ED and Ward 14, and to friends and staff at Nazareth House. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Christchurch City Mission in Paddy’s memory. A memorial service will be held at Christchurch Transitional Cathedral this Friday morning, April 21, at 10.30am.
