Died peacefully on April 9, 2023 at Burwood Hospital, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Sandra, loved father and father-in-law of Andrew and Shauna, Kate and Reuben Thorne, Richard and Josie, loved grandad (Tez) of Sam, George, and Ivy Mehrtens; Angus, Lucy, and Honor Thorne; Henry, and Fred Mehrtens; also loved by Shauna’s 2 girls Rio, and Morgan.
