HILL, Larry Desmond
Age 92 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday 13th April 2023, in Hawera. Devoted and much-loved husband of the late Freda for 66 years. Cherished Dad and father-in-law to Beverley & Bob (Florida), Janene (dec) & Terry (Whangaparaoa), Bryan & Heather (Waitarere Beach), Gavin & Lisa (NSW) and Michelle (dec), Shelley & Dave (Kapiti). Adored ‘Shooting Grandad” and “Grandad Scooby” to Roisin, Michael, Danielle, Tristan, Jacinta, Johnny, Monique, Zach, Nicki & Sean, and 12 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Annie Brydon’s team for their love and care of our Dad. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Thursday 20th April 2023 at 11am at Tairoa Lodge Church Hall, 3 Puawai Street, Hawera. Larry’s service will be livestreamed via his tribute page at
