Check your Supermarket reciepts
Hi Neighbours, another reason to always check your till receipts at Supermarkets now that the cost of living (food) is getting out of control. Got charged $2 extra per small chicken at PaknSave Silverdale. I know it was human era that scanned ticketed price tag and not the marked down price which should have been placed over the ticketed price tag. It is only $4.00 but multiple that with the amount of chickens in the fridge. When they ask you whether you would like a receipt always politely say yes and check it. John

That time of the year where fledglings fall from their nests.. I know there’s lots of birds out there but it still breaks my heart. Does anyone know of a local ‘bird’ rescuer who can help them whilst they find their feet. I have one in my garden at present. Happy to donate pronurtar and can drop off. Does anyone know of somebody? Would appreciate your help. Cheers
