Volunteers and donations
Hi everyone, we wanted to say thank you for all of the donations and please keep giving, we appreciate what we get.
If you can't get to us, give us a call and we can pick up donations in our little truck. Our number is still 03 349 4163 Mon to Sat.
We would also love some more volunteers both in Hornby and at Church Corner, stop by or call, we look forward to seeing you.
Our hours are Mon to Fri 9 am to 4:30 pm and Sat 9:30 am to 1:30 pm in Hornby and Church Corner hours are Mon to Sat 9:30 am to 5 pm.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
