FREE Food Safety Course

Lynda from Bishopdale

Dear Neighbours, I’ve just booked the meeting room at Bishopdale library on 11th July at 10.15 am, to host a FREE Food Safety Course. The course is for two hours. This course is for those of you who are in the food business or are thinking about going into the food business, but not sure where you stand with the new legislation and food safety. As I said the course is FREE but I have limited spaces as the meeting room only holds 10 people. So, if you’re interested please PM or call me on 022 659 8674 to book your place. Please pass on this post to anyone who you think might be interested. Cheers.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
