We are taking buses to the four corners of Auckland to see first hand how communities are to see first-hand how community-led development is happening across the city. Local hosts will introduce participants to projects, approaches, relationships and success factors that grow resilience, that is driven by and works for local people. Mobile devices store far more sensitive data than you may realize, oftentimes more than even your computer. Typical information can include:

Where you live, work, and places you frequently visit
, employee details, IRD numbers (making it easy for identity theft)
•The contact details for everyone in your address book and applications, including family, friends, and coworkers

Call history, including inbound, outbound, and missed calls
•
SMS (texting), voice, and multimedia messages
•
Chat sessions within applications like secure chat, games, and social media
•
Location history based on GPS coordinates or cell tower history
•
Web browsing history, search history, cookies, and cached pages
•
Personal photos, videos, audio recordings, and emails
•
Stored passwords and access to personal accounts, such as your online bank or email

Access to photos, files, or information stored in the Cloud

Any health-related information, including your age, heart rate, blood pressure, or diet
When disposing of your mobile device, be sure to do a factory reset and remove the SIM and any SD cards if your device has them.

We are looking for an affectionate adult dog. Prefer a border collie, lab or similar, but will consider other breeds. We are home all day and so this special dog will get a lot of love and attention and have the run of our lifestyle block.

We ask all those who are willing to embrace the giving season and dig deep for families in their community who need it most and donate a gift for a deserving child or family member and drop it into our office.
The campaign will officially launch in Australia and New Zealand on 1 December 2016.
This gift drive is a really simple way to help put a smile on the face of children and families who may need some extra cheer at this time of year!
All you need to do is wrap up your present and drop it under the tree at one of our offices below:

Each month we will be sending a wee gift of thanks to the neighbourhood champion of the month. How does it work? You can nominate a champion in your neighbourhood by emailing kiaora@neighboursday.org.nz with the story, a picture if you have one, and your neighbourhood champion's contact number or address if you have it so we can get in touch with the if they win. Sometimes we get caught up in the Christmas rush, and don’t take time to think about people who may be experiencing a much quieter holiday season. Contact with older people can help families to connect with what Christmas is really about, and it’s a great time to explore memories and think about traditions.
We will posting 5 tips leading up to Christmas on how you can connect with your older neighbours this Holiday Season.
2. Pop over with a hand-made card from a child
A little note to say Happy Holidays can make the world of difference to an older neighbour. Have your son or daughter make up a card or get your crafty hat on and make one yourself. It’s a great excuse to pop over and have a nice chat.
