Fruit and Vege Bonanza!

Do you find it hard to get to the shops for your fruit and vegetables

Here's a hassle-free way to grab yourself a fantastic bag of fresh fruit and vegetables at a great price. For $15.00 a week you will get a selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables which will vary weekly. The Hornby Community Centre is a hub for the ChCh South Fruit and Vege Co-op and provides a pick-up point (collect from 11am Wednesday until 5pm Thursday). If you would like to help this local Co-op you can become part of the team who share the workload of packing or assisting in other ways. Orders can be via internet banking or paid directly to Linda at the Hornby Community Centre, paid a week in advance.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
