CanInspire is a not-for-profit registered charity based in Ashburton, NZ. With regional areas run by Coordinators in Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. We work alongside other charities and not for profit organisations providing jewellery making workshops and materials to individuals experiencing illness, trauma or personal loss. These take place in a variety of places in and around the central city, and suburbs.
We welcome any offers of assistance or donations related to our work, in particular donations of beads or other jewellery which could be used during our workshops & to stock our CanBead Kits. We are also very interested in hearing from you if you would like to know more about becoming a volunteer at our workshop sessions, being part of the team that assemble the bead kits, or our bag making team.
Please note, all volunteers who assist in our jewellery making workshops are required to have a police check prior to beginning. For more information, please PM me. I look forward to hearing from you. For more information:

It was made from a pair of jeans from an op shop. "All of my gardening clothes come from op shops," she says. "Large men's shirts make good cover-ups to keep sun and insects off my arms.
