First plans for Christchurch's newest pool complex released
Lane swimming and play pools, a family spa, and new tennis and basketball courts will be part of a new $21 million complex planned for eastern Christchurch.
The public had its first glimpse of Christchurch City Council's proposed plans for the pools and recreation complex during a community event at Linwood Park on Saturday.
The plans show a lane pool with deep area for bombing and playing on inflatables, a learn-to-swim pool, a toddler pool and a family spa. There would also be meeting rooms and a kitchen for community use.
