Do you like to dance like no one is watching?

Carly McCall from Phillipstown Community Hub

Then DIY Dance is the perfect place for you!

DIY in this case stands for Dance It Your Way. No instructions, no rules, no expectation and no judgement. Just terrific tunes in a relaxed environment so you can move your body and feel free.

Every Tuesday at 1pm. Room 8 at the Phillipstown Community Hub, 39 Nursery Rd.

We supply the tunes, you supply the moves.
You can sit on a chair if you wish.
It's about music and dancing however you dance - whether mobile or not.
There are no 'levels'. No instructions/tutoring required.
I encourage you to simply turn up (drop in/out) as and when you can.

Cost: Gold coin or donation of non-perishable food item for Community Pantry <3

DIY Dance is hosted by Jan Adams. Phone 027 322 5474 or visit diydancenz.wixsite.com...

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
