Play Hub in Bishopdale
Throughout Term 1 the Kia Kori Waitaha/PLAY in Canterbury team will be running a PLAY Weekly Hub on Tuesday afternoons at Grant Armstrong Park, starting 15th February. This is a free hub with no registration needed, just turn up from 3pm on a Tuesday and join the fun.
The PLAY Weekly hub itself is very informal and will have a range of sports gear for participants to use as they like. Stop in on your way home from school to see the friendly activators!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
