Secrecy over future use of three Christchurch heritage buildings
The future use of three significant Christchurch heritage buildings remains secret as the city council considers its options.
The Old Municipal Chambers on the corner of Worcester St and Oxford Tce, the Robert McDougall Art Gallery and the Sign of the Takahe were all being discussed behind closed doors at a Christchurch City Council meeting on Thursday.
Little information has been publicly released about the possible future uses of the buildings as the council sites commercial sensitivity.
