Good weed-free soil - come and get it!
We have around 3 cubic metres of good quality soil piled at the front of 104 Huxley St, Sydenham free for whoever gets to it first. It comes from under the house, so no weeds but a few stones. Good quality, non-clay soil - would be great for a planter or vege bed. Please help yourself and help us!
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Handy gardener wanted with large chainsaw
Just needing a small job topping small hedges chain sawing. I’ve done most of the hedges however not the power saw that can cut through the branches I can’t.
