Papanui High School Sign Language Course
Do you want to learn Sign Language? Papanui High School is offering a Beginners Level Sign Language course for Term 2 beginning on Wednesday 10 May 6.30-8.30 pm for 7 weeks at a cost of $123. You will learn the hand signs and facial expressions to enable you to communicate effectively with deaf people. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
