Welcomes (to Neighbourly Northwood)
As you might know, I have just recently returned as Northwood Lead. During my last stint as Lead I always made sure I welcomed each and every person who joined us in Northwood. I don't believe there was any Lead welcoming new members during my absence so I have made a point of going back as far as possible to rectify that.
It has lead to some very dismayed replies, (and a couple of irate ones) reminding me that some of the people I am welcoming have been members for 'ages". Sorry about that, I was only trying to make sure you didn't feel missed out.
So, instead of causing more irate replies, I just want to say 'welcome' to all new members who have not been welcomed by me personally. It is great to have you with us. We appreciate your support.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
