More work needed on library

Christchurch's Redwood Library will remain closed for now after it was discovered more repair work is needed than initially thought.

The library closed on July 29 to allow for a site upgrade and was due to open on August 26.

Further investigations have found the building needs more extensive repairs than expected.

A mobile library will visit the car park on Wednesdays, from 10am to 11am, and Fridays, from 3pm to 4pm, until the facility reopens.
