A quick reminder - 11am Sunday morning the Tsunami sirens will be tested.
A good time to check your smoke alarm batteries and replace if necessary. A North Canterbury family had smoke alarms which alerted them to a house fire. All family members escaped unharmed. Please check that elderly neighbours are able to do theirs and if not help them out.
3am Sunday morning daylight saving ends. Put your clocks back 1 hour at 3 am or do it before going to bed.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
