Teenage heptathlete appeals for return of her stolen shoes
Up and coming athlete, 19-year-old Lexi Maples, is appealing for the return of multiple stolen shoes.
Her car was broken into over the weekend, and four pairs of specialist athletics shoes were taken. The spiked shoes are so specifically designed that they are not available in NZ, and are valued at over $200 per pair. Her South Island Heptathlon Championships hopes have now been put in jeopardy.
