Research Participants Wanted
Hi! I'm a PhD student at the University of Canterbury and I'm looking for couples to participate in a confidential study on health and wellbeing in relationships. Each member of the couple will be asked to complete an online survey (15-20 minutes). There will be questions about your relationship, your eating behaviour and your attitudes towards food, and the sort of person you are. Couples must be over 18, live together, and be fluent in English. Each person who completes the survey will receive a $10 supermarket voucher, which we will post out to you (you will need a NZ postal address for this).
If you are interested or have any questions, please email coupleswellbeingstudy@gmail.com for some more detailed information and a link to the study.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
