Update - CAB operations over the coming weeks
Due to the current Covid - 19 situation we have had to shut down our branches BUT we are monitoring our emails and phone messages via our 0800 number - 0800 367 222. We are putting systems into place which will mean that you will be able to contact us if you need help or advice and we will update you when we have this up and running . Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
