Reiki Energy Healing Appointments Available in Rangiora

Rae from Rangiora

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction & relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is a system of natural healing whereby I position my hands just above or lightly on your fully clothed body while lying on a massage bed. The Universal Life Force Energy then flows from Source through my hands to the energy points within your body. Reiki, amplifies energy, wholeness & well-being because Reiki works on the physical, emotional, mental & spiritual bodies. Reiki soothes away many different troubles & traumas in a gently yet powerful way. It is a passive experience where you either feel the warmth from my hands, tingling or just fall into a very relaxing sleep. The energy healing carries on working through your body for approximately a week, clearing out all that no longer serves you. Reiki is safe, calming, & relaxing suitable on young, the not so young, expectant mums & pets.

Invest in Yourself:
Take a small retreat from your busy life to relax & enjoy a peaceful, gently, healing session with me. Improve your physical, emotional, & spiritual well being. Reduce anxiety, stress & tension. As an extra service I can create a crystal healing bracelet specific to your needs complimenting your therapeutic experience.

Thank you, I look forward to helping you on your healing journey.

What workplace change would you like to see most?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This coming Monday is Labour Day in New Zealand. This public holiday marks when the eight-hour workday and 48-hour workweek became law in 1899. The idea started with Samuel Parnell, a carpenter in Wellington, who in 1840 refused to work more than eight hours a day. Since skilled workers were in short supply, his employer had to agree.

As more skilled workers arrived, employers tried to change working conditions, but Parnell and others kept pushing for better rights. In 1890, Parnell led a Labour Day parade of 1,500 people to promote the eight-hour day. He passed away shortly after, and nine years later, Labour Day became an official public holiday.

Do you feel that we have reached the ideal in working environments yet? What rights are you passionate about relating to employment? Share your thoughts!
