Looking for this little kitty's home.🐱

Rhonda from Kaiapoi

Hi everyone,

AWESOME NEWS CAT AND OWNER HAVE BEEN REUNITED LAST NIGHT!
OWNER VERY GRATEFUL AS SHE HAS HAD THE KITTY FOR 12yrs.

I have had this little guy/girl think a Male..
around for awhile on and off and now has decided to stay around, over the last 3 weeks.

It has think winter coat on now. a white tuff on the chest. Not a kitten.
Has short little legs (kinda like munchkin breed) abit shy but after a bit of coaxing and feeding I can now pat it. This cat just melts, purrs very affectionate. But weary.
Haven't been able to catch to put in cat cage to do a microchip scan at vet.

We cant rehome it should we fail to locate owners, 2 out 4 in family have allergies, pushing my luck with the 1 we have.

Really wanting to help this little cat, it's cold, lives in lean to, sneaks inside when our cat goes out and sleeps behind furniture,

Let me know if maybe someone out would like to give it him a new home, if owners are not located???
Listed on lost pets page facebook
Thanks.

What workplace change would you like to see most?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This coming Monday is Labour Day in New Zealand. This public holiday marks when the eight-hour workday and 48-hour workweek became law in 1899. The idea started with Samuel Parnell, a carpenter in Wellington, who in 1840 refused to work more than eight hours a day. Since skilled workers were in short supply, his employer had to agree.

As more skilled workers arrived, employers tried to change working conditions, but Parnell and others kept pushing for better rights. In 1890, Parnell led a Labour Day parade of 1,500 people to promote the eight-hour day. He passed away shortly after, and nine years later, Labour Day became an official public holiday.

Do you feel that we have reached the ideal in working environments yet? What rights are you passionate about relating to employment? Share your thoughts!
