Private Gym with Exercise Coach

Janine from Kaiapoi

I run a small Private Gym in Clarkville working as an exercise coach to help customers achieve lifestyle fitness. Lifestyle fitness is just enough activity to keep you fit for your daily activities - and maybe a bit more ;), because sadly, as we get older, if we don't gently push our bodies then we lose those abilities. The equipment is designed to be low impact or no impact enabling people with injuries to exercise. You will be guided through an activity/exercise programme to help with your needs - be that better balance, exercises to help you recovery from an injury, or heart and lung fitness so you don't get out of puff so easily when playing with the kids. I have over 35 years experience in the fitness industry, and as I have aged (and got injured) I realised that there was a need to 'fill the gaps' with specific exercises as no-one does all the things they ought to on a daily basis. Please feel free to contact Janine on 03 35 215 35 to find out more. Cost is $40 for an hour or $28 for half an hour. FB: Rose Cottage Exercise Coaching Gym or Exercise & wellbeing coach.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
