Repair Cafe Rolleston
People will be on hand at Te Ara Ātea, Rolleston Library on Saturday 15 October from 10.30am - 1pm to assist with repairing an assortment of household items and machinery. So keep those ageing or broken items in order to give them a new lease of life!
We are planning to provide repairs for the following:
- Bikes by Fix ur Ride.
- Electrical & Electronics by, Ecotech Services.
- Jewellery by, Warren Agencies.
- Computers.
- Household Appliances by Ecotech Services.
- Clothing by three volunteer seamstress.
- General repairs by, Mens Shed.
You do not need to register for this free event, just come along with your faulty items on the day.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
