Meet the Museum’s canine characters

Canterbury Museum

Our new exhibition ‘Dogs in Antarctica: Tales from the Pack’ tells the stories of the sledge dogs who helped explorers like Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton traverse the icy continent.

Kids can look at what the dogs ate, learn about the equipment they used, and name an Antarctic dog for a chance to win prizes. A perfect expedition for your pack these school holidays!
