Cat Rescue is on fundraising website called Webfair
We are one of 13 charities that have goods donated (by the community and business) to be sold with the proceeds to go to the nominated Charities.
AUCTION/FAIR CLOSES THIS THURSDAY AT 8.30 SO HOP ON LINE NOW.
$1 reserve with over 90+ items put up by our supporters. 1/2 of the items so far do not have bids on them and about 10 amazing products only have a bid of $1 SO BARGINS TO BE HAD.
Please can we have your support by login on and having a look or bidding. Spread the word amongst your friends and family. I personally think this site will become bigger than on line buying sites (that started small) but will only be as successful as community support. WILL ALL PROCEEDS (APART FROM A $1 CHARGE PER SALE TO MAINTAIN THE SITE) GOING TO CHARITY.
Not just Cat Rescue Christchurch but also the other charites ie

Belfast Rugby Club (Local)

I personally brought 3 items in last auction/fair for $10 and one of those items were some Zeira Shoes for $5. I supported 3 charities in my sale. Bargin buy's and easy normal and secure payment options. As with other online sites delivery option is postage (either at the sellers or buyers cost) but for the local items it is pick up in time for xmas.
Have a look and if you don't like anything, there is always the option to process a $5 donation to any of the charities indicated.
Enjoy and merry xmas.
Psss if you want to know about other auctions starting on this site or be into entering competitions for giveaway prizes like the WEBFAIR facebook page. They will keep you upto date for the chance to get more bargins in the future.
⚠️ DOGS DIE IN HOT CARS. If you love them, don't leave them. ⚠️
It's a message we share time and time again, and this year, we're calling on you to help us spread that message further.
Did you know that calls to SPCA about dogs left inside hot cars made up a whopping 11% of all welfare calls last summer? This is a completely preventable issue, and one which is causing hundreds of dogs (often loved pets) to suffer.
Here are some quick facts to share with the dog owners in your life:
👉 The temperature inside a car can heat to over 50°C in less than 15 minutes.
👉 Parking in the shade and cracking windows does little to help on a warm day. Dogs rely on panting to keep cool, which they can't do in a hot car.
👉 This puts dogs at a high risk of heatstroke - a serious condition for dogs, with a mortality rate between 39%-50%.
👉 It is an offence under the Animal Welfare Act to leave a dog in a hot vehicle if they are showing signs of heat stress. You can be fined, and prosecuted.
SPCA has created downloadable resources to help you spread the message even further. Posters, a flyer, and a social media tile can be downloaded from our website here: www.spca.nz...
We encourage you to use these - and ask your local businesses to display the posters if they can. Flyers can be kept in your car and handed out as needed.
This is a community problem, and one we cannot solve alone. Help us to prevent more tragedies this summer by sharing this post.
On behalf of the animals - thank you ❤️
Apple customer service
My iPad recently had one of the automatic Apple upgrades but thereafter the recent (important) information on my ‘Notes’ icon had disappeared leaving only very early stuff. Does anyone know where I can find an Apple technician to try to sort it out?
