Vacanies

Warm Pasifika Greetings, we currently have spaces available across our service for children aged from 0-6 years. Our centre fees include all food and this is prepared daily by our centre cook on site. We also provide the use of Story Park an e-portfolio system at no extra cost for families who would like to access their child's learning on line. We welcome visitors to the centre at any time. We are open daily from 7.30am to 6pm and also offer 4 and 6 hour sessions. Please feel free to text/email/ring or pop in if you would like an enrolment pack or to know more. This is a great time of year to confirm your child's place for 2018 and start visits to the centre (at no charge) so you and your child can get to know our teaching team and support staff before your child's first day.
Have a fabulous day, the Barnardos Hornby Pasifika Team.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
