Documentary Screening

Bebhinn from Bishopdale

Hi All :) I need to ask a favour of you! I will be hosting 2 screenings in Christchurch, both of which I want to make as accessible as possible. I want these to be platforms for discussion, idea sharing, and project planning for action on waste reduction in Christchurch. It has been hard for me to get funding for these as I am not a legal entity. So, I have decided to crowdfund. Plastic is incredibly destructive to our planet, and particularly, marine life. It is so important it is to get the message out there, so I'm asking you guys to help me do that! I've set up a PledgeMe - it has all the information on it. The second screening will be at Bishopdale Community Centre, there will be free food and a chance to catch up with the neighbours! Please have a look at the link, and if you want to, donate!

What's your favourite tomato recipe?

Mei Leng Wong Reporter from NZ Gardener & Get Growing

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
