Bookarama 2017
The Rotary Club of Cashmere is currently collecting second hand books, CD's, DVD's, puzzles and other items which will be sold at Addington Raceway Stables between 23 to 26 November.
All of the profits from Bookarama will be donated to South Christchurch community groups and schools.
Donations of books etc can be left at various collection points which include St Martins New World, Countdown Colombo St., Z Colombo St., BP Sparks Rd., and many other sites. Go to www.rotaryinfo.org.nz... for further information on collection points.
Any Neighbourly members with limited mobility who would like books picked up should email info@rotaryinfo.org.nz to arrange.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
