Riverlaw Tce between Tennyson St and Wilsons Rd has been closed because of flooding while other roads around the Heathcote are being closely monitored.
One lane of Fitzgerald Ave, north of Kilmore St, has also been closed to traffic because of surface flooding.
On Banks Peninsula the State Highway is close to flooding at Cooptown and Little River.

After that it will become a paid car park offering more than 400 short term carparks. Two new parking options have opened up this week, the Hereford Carpark, near the corner of Colombo St has about 570 parking spaces, and The West End car park, between Hereford and Cashel Street, accessed via Cashel Street, with about 265 short-term public parking spaces.

Council contractors have been out clearing grates, checking pumps and making sure the drainage network is operating as it should. If you spot a blocked or overflowing public street drain you can report it to the Council’s Contact Centre.

We LOVE seeing all the fun times and knowing that we're getting a little closer to knowing our neighbours and connecting with our communities. It makes a massive difference to our sense of belonging, safety and being part of a more resilient community.
