A house is more than bricks and mortar and a community is more than a boundary on a map; both are full of memories and comfortable connectedness. If your parent is having a tough time making ends meet, but don’t want to sell their home to fund the things they need or want, consider talking to them about releasing some equity in their home with a Heartland Reverse Mortgage.

Set of keys found on Tunnel Rd near Ferrymead end. Quite a few keys so somebody will be keen to get them back. They have been run over a couple of times by the look of it, so a bit bruised. Reply here to get in touch.

1. Set up a Halloween Group for your street! Plan your Halloween evening with your neighbours to see what time everyone is taking the kids out. You could even co-ordinate matching costumes!
2. Download one of our SPOOKY Neighbourly Halloween posters to stick on your house or letterbox for if:
- You welcome all trick or treaters
- You want trick or treaters to stay away
3. Stay in areas of your neighbourhood that are familiar and are well lit. And although Halloween is supposed to be spooky, be careful not to frighten your elderly neighbours by popping out of the dark!
Stay safe and have fun!
