Have you been to see Canterbury's waddle of Pop-up Penguins?

Jake Kenny Reporter from Community News

From Rangiora to Rolleston, Christchurch to Kaiapoi, 120 penguin sculptures have brought joy to the streets of Canterbury this summer.

This weekend sees the end of the Pop Up Penguins art trail, but there is still time to visit a few more before they are gathered up to be sold at a charity auction next month.

Will you check them out before they go? Or have you been already?

Let us know your thoughts on the penguins in the comments below.

WANTED - Hat Blocks & Hat Making Equipment PLEASE..

Helen from Strowan

Can anyone help.. My daughter is interested in starting to attempt to make hats as a hobby.
I was wondering if anyone might have any old wooden hat blocks (similar to the one pictured) or any old hat making tools or equipment that they no longer use and would like them to go to a good home.
Happy to pay for these.
Please message or email us on mjbraithwaite@xtra.co.nz
