Thinking of others as it Rains
Whilst chatting with local councillor Ali Jones about my offer to people who have damaged homes from the quakes on facebook and where ive posted it people are commenting positively up to 50 atm thought it would be timely to also do the same on here.
Reach out to people have some community spirit during this weather event and afterwards.
Some people and their pets need a break. A warm dry home in your house, some home cooking, a meal out, some company, a goodie basket, to be taken to the movies, a day trip somewhere, a haircut, a vet visit, dog groom, dr visit, just to be listened to, a change of scenery, some work done around their home, new friends, any nice thing you could think of. Use your imagination.

If anyone can help me set up a database to match people up to be used in all events and situations that would be awesome.
Lets show our love towards one another and community spirit again.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
