Pet cat's eye damaged, pellet lodged near spine after air rifle shooting
Eddy arrived home from a Sunday stroll with with his face covered in blood and eye “completely destroyed” after being shot at close range.
X-rays confirmed the cat had been shot. A surgeon operated on Eddy’s eye, but the slug remains lodged near the spine.
Owner Zane Garlick, of Hoon Hay, shocked that someone could be so cruel, saying his cat loved people and would approach anyone and wants the perpetrator to be caught.
